Be Unique With Mixed Red Bridesmaid Dresses

You really want the best red bridesmaid dresses, but how to choose flattering styles is another problem altogether.

Before my own wedding I had an idea of what I wanted my bridesmaids to wear. Unfortunately, they all didn't have same body type. In fact all three were very different. I had one petite teenager with a small figure and medium , one tall woman with a medium sized figure and small chest, and one girl with an enormous chest and medium size body. Figuring out a dress that flattered all three was impossible. Especially since 2 of the girls had body image issues. What I ended up doing was letting them chose their own dresses with my colors in mind. And this actually worked out to my benefit more than theirs. I got bridesmaids who looked amazing and my wedding pictures looked tremendous with them in it. Ultimately the two with body images chose one style of dress and the third another. Although I would have preferred to have all three different or all three alike, when I saw the pictures and video I couldn't have been happier.

There is something special and unique about a wedding that has different dress styles. One other thing that is of note, a bridesmaid is ten times more beautiful when she feels confident in the dress she's wearing. So there are a number of reasons to vary the dresses, and having comfortable, confident bridesmaids is not the least of them. Perhaps that seems trivial, until you think about it carefully. It is a very crucial aspect of the wedding. Bridesmaids Dresses at LightInTheBox.

Isn't it a relief to know that you don't have to find that one dress that fits all bridesmaids' figures? And there are so many beautiful red bridesmaid dresses that having mixed styles makes it easier to decide. Just think, you can pick, or have your bridesmaids pick, dresses that flatter the figure, incorporate your colors, and give a unique feel to your wedding.

If you're looking to have your bridesmaids match, there are some things to think about and ways to look at dresses that will flatter almost all figures. Here are some ideas to think about:

- A red bridesmaid dress may not look best on all skin coloring. Depending on the color of red, the dress may be very unflattering. If possible try to match your color wedding to the bridesmaids. Instead of bright red, switch to scarlet, for instance.

- A-line dresses are generally flattering to all figures.

- Long dresses are beautiful and very elegant, but shorter women can have difficulties carrying them off. An empire waist dress can solve a lot of problems with long dresses.

-Most heavier girls will feel uncomfortable with two things: shorter dresses and sleeveless dresses. Offer an alternative, like a red wrap or capped sleeves. Keep shorter dresses at or a only a little above the knee.

Remember that the ultimate choice is yours and your decision is what matters most. You may also consider the secondary items which will be used in the red wedding theme.
